The United Living Community main campus is composed of several neighborhoods that house our residents who require professional health services on a 24-hour, daily basis. ULC is Medicare/Medicaid certified and is staffed around the clock with a full staff of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, certified nursing assistants and certified rehabilitation nurses.
With 21 semi-private rooms and 39 private rooms, we have a total of 81 beds. All of the rooms have private, handicap-equipped bathrooms and locked storage for personal items such as hearing aids and dentures.
ULC has many community areas for residents to gather with each other, or with friends and family that come to visit. We have a chapel where residents can attend religious services, and we have a Town Center where residents can visit the gift shop, café and beauty parlor. ULC residents and visitors can sit by the fireplaces in our community rooms, or take a walk in our secure and beautiful courtyards. We focus on adding life to years, not just years to life, so we are always practicing our A.L.I.V.E. philosophy at ULC.
All of the neighborhoods in United Living Community have their own dining area, so residents eat with a small group of residents in a setting more intimate than eating in a large dining hall. Each neighborhood also has its own kitchenette and seating area, complete with a fireplace, television and Internet access. Residents can use these community areas to gather with their fellow residents or visitors.
The five neighborhoods within ULC are distinguished by color to coincide with their respective names and to also reinforce the neighborhood atmosphere and sentiment. You can immediately tell what neighborhood you are in by the color of the walls in the hallways.
Morningview – Yellow
Morningview is ULC's skilled nursing neighborhood that focuses on memory care. It is a quiet neighborhood with controlled entry for ultimate security. The staff in Morningview is specially trained in working with memory care clients.
Robinsview – Purple
Robinsview is a mixed living skilled nursing neighborhood in our renovated section of ULC. The rooms have an excellent view of Pioneer Park.
Sunshine – Rusty Red
Sunshine is a mixed living skilled nursing neighborhood. As its name would suggest, Sunshine rooms have a perfect view to watch the sun rise.
Southridge – Green
Southridge provides additional rooms for our rehabilitation clients. It is also a mixed living area. The focus of Southridge is healing.
Short-term Rehabilitation
This neighborhood name speaks for itself. Residents that stay in this neighborhood are at ULC for a short stay until they have finished their rehabilitation therapy treatments. Each room in this neighborhood has its own kitchen and dining area so clients can practice daily living skills before they return home. The Short-term Rehabilitation neighborhood has easy access to the rehabilitation room that it shares with Southridge.
